Cavaliers Once Again Linked To Josh Hart Ahead Of Trade Deadline

The Cleveland Cavaliers are reportedly interested in trading for Josh Hart for the second time in a matter of weeks.

If you are seeing the name "Josh Hart" and "Cavaliers" and thinking, "Hey, I've seen this one before," you wouldn't be wrong.

A few weeks ago these two names were connected in potential trade rumors. But I assure you, this isn't a recycling report.

Those rumbling have resurfaced as yet again the Cavs reportedly have interest in trading for Josh Hart ahead of Thursday's trade deadline.

This report comes from Marc Stien of The Stein Line.

My thoughts on trading for Hart have remained the same since these rumors originally came up. The fit just doesn't make a ton of sense for the Cavs. Hart would still be an undersized wing if they choose to play him there he is streaky at best from behind the arc.

Cleveland already has plenty of that on the roster.

Also, the Cavs would be pretty much guaranteed to move either Caris LeVert, Isaac Okoro, or both in the deal. This is due to the financials and assets Cleveland has or doesn't have depending on how you look at it.

I don't have an issue with the team hopping either of those players ahead of the deadline but trading either of them for Hart doesn't fill the holes.

Josh Hart's name is definitely one Cavs fans should keep an eye on. Hearing a name pop up once is a rumor. However, multiple times as we see here signals that these teams have most likely talked.
