Luka Doncic Suffers Injury Scare in Lakers-Clippers

In this story:
On Friday, Luka Doncic torched the LA Clippers to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a huge win over their crosstown rival, dropping a game-high 31 points. Doncic is undoubtedly one of the best players of the new generation, as the 25-year-old already has five All-NBA First Team honors and has been top ten in MVP voting every year since he was a sophomore.
Doncic is the future of LA, despite playing just his eighth game as a Laker on Sunday night. The Lakers are hosting the Clippers for the second time in three nights, and Doncic did not miss a beat from Friday.

Doncic dropped 12 points on 4-5 shooting in the first quarter over the Clippers, but his night was nearly cut short. After a dominant opening quarter, Doncic walked to the locker room with an apparent leg injury.

Doncic left Sunday's game momentarily but returned to the game with 6:24 remaining in the second quarter. Unfortunately for Doncic, his hot hand must have been left in the locker room, as he shot just 0-3 from the field in the second quarter, finishing the period with zero points and one rebound.
Doncic has already missed four games since getting traded to the Lakers, so his health has been the biggest priority for LA as they continue to win behind their new superstar duo of him and LeBron James.
