After losing to the Golden State Warriors in their first play-in tournament game, the Memphis Grizzlies now have to face the Dallas Mavericks in hopes of securing the final spot in the Western Conference playoffs.

Friday's win-or-go-home matchup between the Grizzlies and Mavericks in Memphis will feature some of the league's most elite talent, highlighted by one star on each side. The Grizzlies are led by star point guard Ja Morant, while the Mavericks are led by superstar big man Anthony Davis.

The Mavericks have been dealing with grueling injuries throughout the season, but luckily for them, Davis will suit up on Friday. The Mavericks have upgraded Davis to available after he was listed as probable with left adductor strain.

Davis was traded to the Mavericks midseason, but due to injuries, he only played nine regular-season games with Dallas. In those nine games, Davis averaged 20.0 points, 10.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 2.2 blocks, but is Dallas' only hope of making a postseason run.

In Dallas' play-in win over the Sacramento Kings, Davis dropped 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks on 9-23 shooting from the field and 3-6 from beyond the arc.

The Mavericks will continue to play with star point guard Kyrie Irving, who suffered a season-ending ACL tear, but having Davis on the court for Friday's game could be enough to help them take down Memphis.

The winner of Friday's game will move on to face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the playoffs.
