With the Memphis Grizzlies not expected to re-sign Dillon Brooks, the veteran forward will have to explore other options in free agency this summer. According to former NBA player Chandler Parsons, the Dallas Mavericks could be a good fit for Brooks.

"I like him in Dallas with Kyrie Irving and Luka [Doncic]," Parsons said. "They're a team that needs toughness - and not necessarily another distraction, but I do think Dillon will learn from this, and he'll realize that this was more negative than positive. Especially in the media and all the things that come with him. At the end of the day, Dillon Brooks is a role player, and he's a good role player. He can score the ball, he can defend, he's tough, he's fearless. And a lot of teams lack that."

It does seem as if there will be a market for Brooks, despite what some may be saying about his future in the NBA. While things ended poorly for him in Memphis, Brooks does provide certain attributes that teams around the league could use. As Chandler Parsons noted, a team like the Dallas Mavericks could benefit from his defense and toughness, especially if he matures and eliminates distractions.

The Mavericks of course have decisions to make on their own free agents this summer, including Kyrie Irving, who was acquired from the Brooklyn Nets at the trade deadline.
