NBA Legend Makes Strong Ja Morant, LeBron James, Team USA Claim

In this story:
After their disappointing FIBA World Cup run, USA Basketball could be assembling their best possible roster for next summer's Paris Olympics. During a recent episode of KG Certified, NBA legend Kevin Garnett made a strong claim about why Team USA should include Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant on their roster next summer.
"Ja Morant, whether we want to or not, he's one of our best players. He's top-five," Garnett said. "... You know what Ja Morant gonna get to do? He's gonna get to see LeBron work. He's gonna get to see KD work... I would love to see LeBron James get an alley-oop from Ja Morant, and throw it back to Ja and he dunks."
Believing that Morant would benefit from learning under Lakers star LeBron James, Garnett was adamant in believing the Grizzlies star should be a part of Team USA for the Olympics next summer. Wanting to see the dynamic between James and Morant on and off the court, Garnett believes it would benefit everyone involved.
These were strong words from Garnett, but it's hard to argue with his logic. While Morant may not be top-five like the NBA legend claimed, he's certainly one of the best American players in the world, and could be a very important piece for Team USA if both sides agree to have him on the 2024 Paris Olympics roster.
