The Los Angeles Lakers stole Game 1 from the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday afternoon, and it was largely due to a dominant performance from Austin Reaves down the stretch. While the play of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Rui Hachimura was steady throughout, Reaves dominated the Lakers in the 4th quarter, going a perfect 5/5 from the field in the final frame.

Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard reacted to the performance from Reaves, sending out this Tweet:

The emergence of Reaves is a huge reason why the Lakers are even in the playoffs, and he stepped up in a big way in Game 1. Stealing home court back from the Grizzlies, the Lakers have to feel great about where they are right now. The Grizzlies were the best home team in basketball this season, and will now have to win on the road to regain home court advantage back in this series.

Washington Wizards forward and former Laker Kyle Kuzma also reacted to the performance from Reaves with this Tweet:

While it is just one game, this is a huge win for a Lakers team that has been surging for a while now. The play of Austin Reaves is a big reason why, and he once again came through for LA. Damian Lillard and Kyle Kuzma were impressed with the Lakers guard, and shared their thoughts on Twitter.

Now in an 0-1 hole, the Grizzlies will look to bounce back in Game 2.
