New Injury Update on Ja Morant's Game 2 Status

In this story:
Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant re-injured his right hand in Game 1 vs. the Los Angeles Lakers. Morant was sidelined for the last few minutes of that game, and expressed some real concern after the game about his availability going forward.
Reports over the last two days have indicated some serious doubt from the Grizzlies that Morant would be available for Game 2, but an official update from Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins on Tuesday morning revealed that Morant will be a game time decision for Game 2.
Ja Morant is a Gametime decision on Wednesday night, per Taylor Jenkins.

It is a soft tissue bruise. He dribbled and shot with the hand today to test it.
Morant was seen at Grizzlies practice testing out his injured hand, but it looked as if he was doing most of his work with the left. Already down 0-1 to the Lakers, the Grizzlies cannot afford to drop both of their first two home games. Having been dominant at home all season, Memphis struggled on the road, which would put them in an even deeper hole if they traveled to LA without a win in the series yet.
Morant is certainly going to do all he can to be on the floor, but it will be a pain tolerance thing for the Grizzlies star. Without him, it feels as if Memphis will have little chance; however, this is a group that has proven the ability to win without Morant this season. While a stretch of regular season wins is not the same as the playoffs, this Grizzlies group is battle tested without Morant to an extent, and will have to tap into that if he cannot go.
