Recently spotted in the Dominican Republic, Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is enjoying his final summer months before the NBA season grind begins again. The latest viral video of Morant in the Dominican Republic shows the Grizzlies star dancing and having fun with a young fan:

The video has already accumulated close to 50,000 views in just a few hours, as fans are loving the offseason content. Morant is very popular amongst young basketball fans, largely due to his highlight reel plays. Also playing the game with a joy that excites younger fans, Morant and the Grizzlies are a fun team to follow.
Morant has made this "griddy" dance even more popular than it already was, popularizing it in the NBA after the move took off in the NFL and college football as a touchdown celebration. Kids everywhere are doing this move, and it had to be fun for this young kid to hit the griddy with Morant in the Dominican Republic.
While much of the coverage of Morant this summer has been negative, primarily due to his own actions, it's always fun to see a video like this go viral. Still one of the faces of the NBA, Morant has an opportunity to learn from his mistakes and continue growing as a player and a person. Needless to say, this will be a big season for him and the Grizzlies.
