Gambling Website Still Lists Miami Heat As Favorite To Land Damian Lillard
The Miami Heat remain the favorite to acquire Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard.
According the sports gambling website BetOnline.Ag, the Heat still have the best odds of signing Lillard. The Heat were listed at -250 of getting Lillard, just ahead of the Brooklyn Nets (+250) and Toronto Raptors +350).
Lillard could become one of the NBA's top targets should he request a trade in the coming days. The saga began last week during the draft when the Trail Blazers decided to keep the No. 3 pick so they could draft Scoot Henderson.
That was against Lillard's wishes because he hoped they used to pick to trade for a more experienced player. Lillard has said he wants to compete for a championship instead of dealing with a rebuild.
Since, the Blazers have said they have every intention of appeasing Lillard despite the moves. Lillard reportedly wants them re-sign Jerami Grant and pick up Draymond Green from the Golden State Warriors.
