Miami Heat's Kyle Lowry Sidelined At Least Through NBA All-Star break
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry will remain out of the lineup the next two games against the Denver Nuggets and Brooklyn Nets, meaning he won't return until at least after the All-Star break.
Lowry is dealing with a knee issue that has already caused him to miss four games. The Heat's other injured players, Omer Yurtseven, Nikola Jovic and Duncan Robinson, are also sidelined with foot, back and injuries.
The only player who could return sooner than the break is guard Victor Oladipo, who is out with a sprained ankle. The Lowry injury is most concerning because he is the lone starter out of the group.
The good news is backup Gabe Vincent has played well in Lowry's absence. He has averaged 14 points, three rebounds and 2.5 assists the past four games.
"Gabe has been one of the most professional guys this year," center Bam Adebayo said. "He's been in so many different roles, so many different lineups."
