Miami Heat Still Searching For Buyout Options After Justin Holiday Reportedly Agrees To Terms With Mavericks

In this story:
It seems the Miami Heat are taking the patient approach when it comes to the NBA's buyout period.
The Heat have watched several teams make moves to improve their chances of winning a championship. The latest was the Dallas Mavericks reportedly agreeing to terms with guard Justin Holiday once he clears waivers according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.
Justin Holiday has agreed to a buyout arrangement with the Houston Rockets and plans to sign with the Dallas Mavericks when he clears waivers, sources told ESPN.

The Mavericks are one of the most active teams the last few. Before acquiring Holiday, they traded for Kyrie Irving at the deadline. The Heat, meanwhile, have stayed relatively quiet other than moving center Dewayne Dedmon and a second-round to the San Antonio Spurs to free cap space.
Terrence Ross (Phoenix Suns), Danny Green (Cleveland Cavaliers) and Reggie Jackson (Denver Nuggets) have also all found new homes via buyout, leaving the Heat with few options. There best chance now of upgrading the roster is making a run at Russell Westbrook, who is still on the market.
Westbrook reportedly isn't expected to make a decision soon, so the Heat have time to make their pitch.
