Anthony Davis in Question vs. Utah Jazz
Needless to say, a major absence if Davis winds up missing time from the injury, and certainly a name to keep an eye on for the Jazz in the hours ahead of their home matchup against the Mavericks.
Davis has missed his fair share of time this season for the Mavericks, most recently with a left calf strain, and he now seems to have an issue with that same calf before their game against Utah.
In the 11 games he's played this season, Davis has averaged 20.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists while shooting 51.8% from the field and 31.8% from three.

The Mavericks, having also ruled out Derick Lively II for the year due to season-ending foot surgery, and ruling Daniel Gafford as questionable with an ankle injury, could leave this frontcourt pretty depleted if Davis is not in the lineup as well.
Of course, the Jazz will be without their own big man in Walker Kessler, as they have been since the start of last month, being ruled out due to season-ending shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum, and leaving Jusuf Nurkic and Kevin Love as the primary bigs to hold down Utah's frontcourt.
However, according to the Jazz's latest injury report, Nurkic will be out of the mix vs. the Mavericks due to rest, so if Davis is also ruled out ahead of tip-off, that'll make for a depleted frontcourt outlook for both sides.
Davis' status will be worth keeping an eye on before the action gets going in Salt Lake City, as tip-off lands at 7 p.m. MT in the Delta Center on Monday night.
