Lakers Injury Report: Darvin Ham Talks Health Of All-Stars For Must-Win Vs Wizards

Tonight, hot off a blowout victory over the 23-52 Toronto Raptors (handing Toronto its 14th straight defeat), the 43-33 Los Angeles Lakers face another lottery team on the second night of a back-to-back set of bouts. They'll square off against former 2020 LA champion Kyle Kuzma's 15-61 Washington Wizards as they wrap up their six-game road trip.

Will All-Stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, who've been struggling with lingering ankle and knee issues for several games now, be able to suit up for something of a must-win against the Eastern Conference's No. 14 seed?

LA head coach Darvin Ham, speaking after his team vanquished the Raptors 128-111, offered a hint as to whether or not James and Davis would suit up against the Wiz.

"We'll see how they feel when they wake up in the morning. In all likelihood I'm sure they'll play," Ham said. "And [our goal with or without them is] just, again, us continuously trying to get better, be the best version of ourselves, regardless of who we're playing."

Both players performed, well, like All-Stars against Toronto.

Across just 28:47, James scored 23 points on 10-of-12 shooting from the field (1-of-1 from deep) and just 2-of-5 shooting from the foul line. He also dished out nine dimes and pulled down four rebounds. In 27:31, The Brow scored 21 points on 10-of-20 shooting from the floor and 1-of-4 shooting from the foul line. He also grabbed 12 boards and dished out one dime (against five turnovers, but we'll forgive him). In fact, every (healthy) Laker is relatively well-rested. Only one player, starting point guard D'Angelo Russell, logged more than 29 minutes last night (he was out there for 32:33).
