LeBron James Has Earned A Lakers Statue, LA Great Attests

In this story:
The summer of 2018 changed the Los Angeles Lakers franchise for the better. The Lakers are used to acquiring super talents, franchise-altering players for that matter, but after several years of mediocrity, to put it kindly, this brought new life to the Lakers and their fans.
The addition of LeBron James changed the course of the franchise for the better, and to this day, the organization and fans are enjoying the ride. We've had some bumpy moments; it hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows, but the good has been great, including the 2020 NBA championship.

A statue might be a tall order, considering he's only brought one championship to the city, but bringing two titles could cement his place in Laker lore.
Los Angeles, specifically the Lakers, are used to multiple championships brought by their star players. Although we're grateful for the 2020 title, one isn't enough here. James and Davis need to bring at least one more to solidify their place in the franchise, and then we could talk about a statue and possibly a street name in the future.
The team looks destined for greatness this season, and hopefully, that remains the case till June.
