James spent out the post on Wednesday morning.

James and Anthony were both drafted in the 2003 NBA Draft class. James was the No. 1 overall pick, and Anthony was the No. 3 pick.

The Cleveland Cavaliers selected James in that draft, while the Denver Nuggets selected Anthony. The two went neck and neck for the 2003-04 NBA Rookie of the Year. James ultimately won the award, but Anthony made a strong claim for jit as he averaged 21 points per game.

The two were teammates for the Lakers during the 2021-22 season.

Anthony spent one season in Los Angeles, which happened to be his last in the NBA. In his lone season in the purple and gold., Anthony tallied 13.3 points per game, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.0 assists while shooting 44.1 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from three in 69 games and 26.0 minutes of action.

The 40-year-old cemented one heck of a career for himself. In 19 NBA seasons, Anthony played impressive numbers, averaging 22.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 44.7 percent from the field and 35.5 percent from beyond the arc. He concluded his career with 28,289 total points, ranking 10th on the NBA's all-time scoring list.

Anthony played for the Nuggets, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers, and the Lakers.

Anthony and James are two of the greatest in this generation.
