It wasn't Luka Dončić or the Dallas Mavericks' night in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals, as the Mavs opened the series with a 117-95 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Dončić finished with 19 points on 6-for-19 shooting. So if he wasn't already having a rough night, he didn't exactly get an assist from a Thunder fan sitting courtside after a dead ball. The Thunder turned the ball over and the Mavericks were set to inbound the ball from the sideline. By rule, as soon as the official makes a call on a turnover that results in a side out-of-bounds, the team that gains possession of the ball can inbound as quickly as possible.

Well, after the turnover, the ball went into the hands of a Thunder fan, who refused to give the ball to Dončić. Instead, the Thunder fan rolled the ball to a referee, much to the dismay of the Mavericks star.

As for Dončić, he's hoping that some more things go his way in Game 2 on Thursday night.
