The Denver Nuggets are set to face the LA Clippers on Tuesday night, but they will be without almost all of their rotation players. The team announced on Tuesday evening that Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Michael Porter Jr., Christian Braun, Vlatko Cancar, Aaron Gordon, Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic, and Jay Huff would all miss this game.

It's not uncommon for teams to rest their rotation players for one or two games each preseason, and the Nuggets are choosing to do that in this one. Playing the Clippers again on Thursday, perhaps Denver will have their healthy players who are resting this game return for that game.

As for the Clippers, they will have most of their regular rotation available. Looking to build chemistry as well a conditioning, the Clippers are also expected to ramp up the minutes for players like Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. There is one preseason game remaining for the Clippers after this one, and it will also come against these Nuggets.

The Nuggets have dominated the Clippers over the last few seasons, as the matchup has been one LA has not been able to really overcome since their bubble loss in 2020. This game will of course not hold any significance with it being a preseason game, and even more so with Denver resting so many of their regular rotation players.
