Cade Cunningham Is Back

After missing five straight games with a hip pointer, rookie sensation Cade Cunningham is ready to return to the court.

The Pistons are getting a much needed return from Cade Cunningham tonight as they get ready to host the Charlotte Hornets. 

The Hornets are currently ninth in the Eastern Conference at 28-28 as they continue to develop. With young guys LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges, along with versatile veterans Terry Rozier and Kelly Oubre Jr., playing a fast, fun brand of basketball, the Hornets can score in bunches and be a lot to handle. With Cunningham back in the lineup, the Pistons have a much better shot.

Detroit is currently in the midst of a six-game skid, so getting Cunningham back before the All-Star break is a big deal. Obviously the Pistons aren't about to go on any type of meaningful run, but competing and winning some games here and there in the middle of a rebuild is always good for development and confidence.
