Devin Booker Ruled Out vs Spurs

The Phoenix Suns will be without Devin Booker tonight when the team faces the San Antonio Spurs.

PHOENIX -- As expected, the Phoenix Suns will be without Devin Booker tonight when they play host to the San Antonio Spurs. Bradley Beal will also be out.

Since playing in the season opener, Booker has been out with an ankle injury. Booker previously missed time in the preseason due to a toe issue as well. Damion Lee is still out while he recovers from meniscus surgery.

Kevin Durant is the only member of the team's "Big Three" that's been healthy thus far.

“The more we get them on the court, the quicker they get back,” Kevin Durant said via Duane Rankin. “Those guys are working extremely hard to get stronger and rehab their injuries. Can’t wait to have them back.”

Grayson Allen and Eric Gordon have started the last two games with Beal/Booker out, and it's likely they again see their number called tonight.

The Suns will host the Spurs today and Thursday before traveling to Philadelphia to battle the 76ers in an early Saturday matinee contest.

“Getting closer, not there yet,” Suns head coach Frank Vogel said on the two star injuries.

“Definitely making progress. ... Those guys are really chomping at the bit and as soon as they get cleared medically and feeling right with what’s ailing them, they’ll be out there."

The Suns look to improve to 3-1 on the season. Tip is scheduled for a little past 7:00 PM Arizona time.
