Former Phoenix Suns forward TJ Warren is reportedly working out for the Boston Celtics among a handful of other free agents, according to NBA insider Shams Charania:

"The Celtics are meeting with free agent forwards TJ Warren and Lamar Stevens in Boston this week, sources tell me. Both players will undergo workouts and are being considered for a potential deal with the Celtics - who still have multiple open roster spots."

Full clip:

Warren was an unrestricted free agent heading into the summer. Last season, his contract AAV was $2.6 million. Warren played in 16 games for Phoenix (42 total) and averaged 7.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and one assist per night on 48.9% shooting.

Warren (almost 30 years old) was initially selected in the first round by Phoenix in the 2014 NBA Draft, where he spent five years with the franchise before being traded to the Indiana Pacers. He recently made his way back at the trade deadline as part of the Brooklyn Nets' trade package that included Kevin Durant.

After arriving to Phoenix, Warren played sparingly through the end of the regular season. After he played just six combined minutes in first-round action, Warren played at least 15 minutes in all four games he featured in during the team's eventual series loss to the Denver Nuggets

Along with Warren, Terrence Ross and Bismack Biyombo are still currently free agents.
