Former Suns PG Chris Paul Sells Valley Home

Former Phoenix Suns PG Chris Paul sold his house here in the Valley after moving to the Golden State Warriors.

According to The Arizona Republic's Catherine Reagor, former Phoenix Suns PG Chris Paul has sold his home in Arizona.

"Former Phoenix Suns player Chris Paul sold his Paradise Valley home for $8 million. The point guard, nicknamed the “Point God” was traded this summer to the Washington Wizards and then to the Golden State Warriors," said Reagor.

"Paul’s 7,452-square-foot former home was built in 2021 and has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and walls of windows overlooking Camelback Mountain.

"The house’s primary suite includes a bathroom with dual vanities, a soaking tub, a walk-in shower and lots of closet space. It also has a gourmet kitchen with a big center island, high ceilings, intricate moldings and a six-car garage. There's a guest house on the property, too."

Paul reportedly paid $7 million for the home in 2021.

It's been a long offseason for Paul, who was traded to the Washington Wizards in a deal that netted the Suns a younger, more lethal scorer in Bradley Beal. Paul was soon moved to the Golden State Warriors for Jordan Poole.

Paul first arrived in the middle of the 2020-21 season from the Oklahoma City Thunder, playing an integral part in helping the Suns reach the 2021 NBA Finals before establishing a regular season record 64 wins the following season.

The 38-year-old guard now joins a Warriors squad that has set the gold standard in NBA play, winning four titles in the last decade while appearing in two other NBA Finals where they lost.

Playing alongside big names such as Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, the Warriors hope to get back to their ring-winning ways.

“We are grateful for everything Chris and Landry [Shamet] added to our organization,” said Suns general manager James Jones following the deal. “Chris had an immeasurable impact on our team, on and off the court, and we thank him for all he did for the Valley.”

The Suns will see Paul to open the 2023-24 regular season when the Warriors play host on Oct. 24.
