The Phoenix Suns have found themselves as a frequent flyer when it comes to the trade market.

Since the arrival of new owner Mat Ishbia, the Suns have assembled massive trades that have netted the team talents such as Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal. With the organization still searching for their first taste of glory in the NBA Finals, Phoenix appears to be stopping at nothing in attempts to upgrade the roster.

After an impressive free agency stint, the Suns appeared to have mostly settled the roster - though they may be looking for one extra move.

Yahoo! NBA insider Jake Fischer is reporting Cameron Payne has been shopped by Phoenix recently:

"The Pacers have been mentioned in another possible trade discussion this week. Phoenix has continued to explore trade scenarios regarding reserve guard Cam Payne, league sources told Yahoo Sports, and Indiana point guard T.J. McConnell has been one player on the Suns’ radar," said Fischer.

"There was some talk around Summer League about a developing multi-team trade discussion. Maybe there’s some business to be done with the Knicks. Rival front offices continue to say New York remains engaged on trade avenues for veteran shooter Evan Fournier, and the Knicks are amenable to doing so as part of multi-team frameworks, sources said."

Payne first entered the league as the No. 14 overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft and has been with Phoenix since 2020. He's played an integral role in commanding Phoenix's second unit as a role player and is often viewed as a source of energy/confidence for his teammates.
