The Phoenix Suns are one of the top teams favored to win the 2023 NBA Finals, and it's not hard to see why.

Led by reigning NBA Coach of the Year Monty Williams, the Suns have assembled a starting lineup that features Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton.

Phoenix previously reached the 2021 NBA Finals before establishing a regular season franchise record in wins with 64 last year. They've played some of the best basketball in the league through the last two seasons but have no Larry O'Brien to show.

Is this the year that changes?

As we begin the NBA playoffs today, FanDuel has the Suns at +480 odds to win the 2023 NBA Finals, the third best in the league. They're just behind the Milwaukee Bucks (+240) and Boston Celtics (+350) and are ahead of teams such as the Golden State Warriors (+850) and Denver Nuggets (+1000) to round out the top five.

Total odds, unveiled by Shams Charania on Twitter:

Some have questions on whether or not the Suns' bench can pull through when needed. Rotation players such as Terrence Ross, Cameron Payne and Torrey Craig have shown to be hit-or-miss this season.

Yet star power ultimately leads to success in the NBA, and the Suns have no shortage of that.

They begin their postseason journey on Sunday, April 16 at 5:00 PM PST against the Los Angeles Clippers. They'll play in Phoenix for Games 1/2 before heading back to Los Angeles for Games 3/4.
