Suns Reveal Final Status of Bradley Beal vs Nuggets

The Phoenix Suns had Bradley Beal as questionable earlier.

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns are expecting to have Bradley Beal available tonight against the Denver Nuggets.

Beal was questionable with a right finger sprain suffered against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night. He left with roughly three minutes to go in the loss after playing 30 minutes and shooting just 4-11 from the field for nine points, five rebounds, six assists and two steals.

Beal had x-rays after Monday but they came back negative, according to Suns coach Frank Vogel. He did not practice on Tuesday but told reporters he had planned on playing tonight in Denver.

Beal is averaging 17.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists per night to go along with one steal. He's played in 43 games leading into tonight after dealing with other various injuries such as lower back spasms, a fractured nose and ankle problems.

The Suns are 42-30 with the West's No. 8 seed in their possession leading into tonight. Phoenix hopes to rebound after a massive disappointment last time out against the Spurs.

"It's disappointment. We came in here and laid an egg. We thought it was going to be easy with no Wemby. Just got our ass kicked. They came out aggressive, just like Coach [Frank Vogel] told us they would, and we didn't respond. Well, we did, but we didn't withstand their punches,"said Beal following the loss to San Antonio.

Damion Lee was previously ruled out ahead of tonight for Phoenix. Jusuf Nurkic was also listed as questionable.

The Suns have just ten games remaining before the postseason begins.

Opening tip is slated for just past 7:00 PM Arizona time.
