The Oklahoma City Thunder sit in the midst of a messy week, they will try to avoid going on a three-game losing skid for the first time all season. What would be an impressive feat to pull off throughout the course of an 82-game season, the 52-24 Thunder will fight an uphill battle against the Indiana Pacers on Friday.

For the third straight game, the Thunder are projected to miss their two go-to scorers in superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (quad) and rising star Jalen Williams (ankle). Gilgeous-Alexander has already been listed as out while Williams is tabbed as doubtful ahead of Friday's class in Indianapolis.

So far this season, Oklahoma City has not allowed a losing streak to push past two games. Despite going on two game skids seven teams, the Thunder have responded with a win each time in the third game.

Boston, Minnesota and Oklahoma City are the only teams that have made it to April 5 without going on a three-game skid, the successful trio are all earmarked as contenders this season.

Through the course of nipping losing streaks in the bud, the Thunder have faced real danger including a stretch of two losses that fed into a game against the mighty Denver Nuggets, Sacramento Kings and Lakers. Perhaps their toughest challenge in keeping this triumph will be on Friday against a desperate Pacers squad.
