Luguentz Dort, Luka Doncic Leave OKC Thunder-Lakers with Respective Injuries

In this story:
Mid-way through the third quarter of Thunder-Lakers on Thursday, Luguentz Dort would go up for an at-rim attempt, seeing a Lakers’ contest and coming down hard.
There was no foul called, and he would remain down through LA’s fast-break. At the stoppage, he was ushered slowly to the locker-room.
He hasn’t yet officially been ruled out of the game per the Thunder, but with Oklahoma City consistently having been ahead by 30-plus points, it’s unlikely he’ll return to the game.
Dort was a massive part of the first-quarter rout, scoring 14 points in total while the Lakers had just 15. Across 21 minutes, he finished with those 14 points, shooting 5-for-8 overall and 4-for-6 from three. He also played plenty of his patented defense across players like Luka Doncic, LeBron James and more.
Just a few players earlier, Doncic would attempt to drive with the ball, quickly pulling up and throwing the ball behind him. He too would go to the floor for a bit before slowing walking straight to the locker-room. Doncic is amid an MVP-esque season, averaging a league-high 33.8 points on 48% shooting, with 8.3 assists and 7.8 rebounds per game.
To that point, Doncic hadn't had a memorable game, scoring 12 points on 10 shots with six turnovers.
Luka Doncic seems to pull up because of his left hamstring

This is the SAME hamstring he hurt prior in the season. If it’s a strain timeline is dependent on severity

Dort's largely been an ironman in his career so far for Oklahoma City, playing upwards of 70 games in three of his last four seasons, and 64 this year. He's been in a shooting slump this year, hitting on just 38% from the field and 33% from three.
While Dort's shooting hasn't been prolific so far this season, the Thunder will certainly still need him for their impending postseason run. An All-Defense selectee last season, he's been crucial to the team's defensive gameplan, largely taking on the toughest matchups night in and out.
Dort has also shown up time and again in big games, both in adding lines in totality and in hitting big shots down the stretch. There's little doubt that OKC will need him for the postseason in a few weeks.
The Thunder are presently cruising toward a blowout victory over the Lakers, which will continue to keep San Antonio at bay for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. The Thunder have five games left on the schedule in the Jazz, Lakers again, Clippers, Nuggets and Suns. Their regular-season will conclue on April 12.
