Below were the live updates for Sunday’s Game 2 of the NBA Finals:
First Quarter: Thunder 26, Pacers 20
The teams dished blows early, with the Thunder attacking the paint aggressively to start, and Indiana's shot-making continuing to hold up. OKC leads three minutes in, 7-5.
The game has continued to be tight, but low-scoring, with OKC clinging to a 13-11 lead with 5:31 remaining in the opening frame.
The teams are deadlocked at 17 with just minutes remaining in the first quarter. Neither team has found tons of success scoring, but Indiana has painted the corners while the Thunder have gotten downhill. OKC is going double-big down the stretch of this first.
Halftime: Thunder 59, Pacers 41
The Thunder bench unit extended the lead to 10, but the Pacers responded quickly with a pair of buckets to make the lead just six.
With its MVP out of the game, the Thunder would continue to push the pace and see buckets fall, pushing the lead to 13. Chet Holmgren found his game-high 11th points of the game via a pass from Kenrich Williams, forcing an Indiana timeout down 15.
The Thunder avalanche wouldn't stop with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander back in the game, as he surpassed double-digit scoring with a layup that would make his team's lead 21.
The Pacers would go on a quick 10-0 run near the end of the quarter, but it was followed up with fairly poised play from OKC.
Third Quarter: Thunder 93, Pacers 74
After some back-and-forth, the Pacers have dug into the Thunder's halftime lead some, narrowing it to 14 with an Aaron Nesmith 3-pointer.
Indiana has tried its best to whittle down OKC's lead, but defense turned offense has kept the home team's lead at 19 with three minutes to play in the third quarter.
The third frame as a whole was sloppy, with Indiana entering the bonus just minutes in, and the Thunder following shortly after.
FINAL: Thunder 123, Pacers 107
The Thunder continued to keep the Pacers at bay in the fourth, keeping an arm's length, 20-point lead for the majority of the quarter.
Indiana would waive the white flag with around four minutes remaining in the ball-game.
