The NBA G-League is looking to unionize with the NBPA for better wages.

The NBA G-League is looking to unionize with the National Basketball Players Association to bring the minor league to bigger stature. Currently, the NBA has improved the benefits and wages for their league, such as the invention of the two-way contract. Yet the league plans to use the momentum to help facilitate a collective bargaining agreement to solidify and possibly improve upon those benefits and wages. SI legal analyst Michael McCann discusses the ramifications if the league unionizes with Robin Lundberg, and whether this will greatly affect the NCAA and player recruiting.
