Details of Warriors Team Meeting Revealed

The Golden State Warriors have not started the season the way they expected to. While Steph Curry has been great, his teammates have not been. Coming off a championship, the team fully expected to defend their title this year, and while the season is still very young, those championship habits are nowhere to be seen.
The team got a solid win over the New York Knicks on Friday night, and Warriors forward JaMychal Green revealed details of a team meeting that was held prior to the game. According to Green, hard conversations that needed to be had were finally had, and it was great for the team.
"We had a great team meeting this morning," Green said. "I think we addressed a lot of things that needed to be addressed, and I think we're starting to get it together."
When asked for details on what was discussed, Green said, "We addressed the elephants in the room. We had that hard conversation that a lot of people don't want to have. We had that conversation. It was much needed. I think it made people more focused and locked in on what we have to do as a team."

Green said a lot of things were addressed, including the team's offensive fluidity, defensive intensity, and getting back to the level of play they're supposed to be at. Green added that the team is confident Klay Thompson will find himself again. According to Green, it was a very productive meeting, so perhaps this is a turning point for the Warriors.
