NBA Admits Massive Blown Call in Warriors vs. Trail Blazers Game

The NBA has released their Last Two Minute Report for the Golden State Warriors vs. Portland Trail Blazers game on Sunday night, and it includes a massive blown call in the final seconds on that close contest.

As Portland was trying to trap Steph Curry with 10 seconds remaining, the Warriors star lost the ball out of bounds, but possession was given back to Golden State. Upon reviewing the play, the NBA says the ball was last touched by Curry, and possession should have been given to Portland.

"Possession is awarded to Golden State. However, the ball touches Curry's (GSW) left leg last before going out of bounds. Possession should have been awarded to Portland," the NBA wrote.

There is a separate argument that Curry was fouled prior to losing the ball out of bounds, which would in a way offset the blown call, but the NBA reviewed the contact prior to the ball going out of bounds, and determined it was clean.

"Grant (POR) makes clean contact with the ball and dislodges it away from Curry (GSW) prior to incidental arm contact occurring," the NBA wrote.

While this was a massive blown call in a one point game, it was not the only miss on the Last Two Minute Report. Two other incorrect calls were listed, with the first coming when Andrew Wiggins should have been called for a shooting foul against Anfernee Simons with 1:07 remaining, and the second coming when Shaedon Sharpe should have been called for personal foul against Chris Paul with 26.6 seconds remaining.
