NBA Legend Slams Jordan Poole in Harsh Rant

Kevin Garnett believes the Golden State Warriors got rid of Jordan Poole for this reason

While it is still very early in the season, Jordan Poole has not gotten off to a great start with the Washington Wizards. Traded by the Golden State Warriors over the summer for Chris Paul, Poole was given a fresh start in Washington, but it has been a struggle so far. Averaging 17.1 PPG on just 39.5% from the field and 29.2% from deep this season, Poole has led the Wizards to a 2-12 start, which is the second worst mark in the entire NBA.

During a recent episode of Showtime Basketball's KG Certified, NBA legend Kevin Garnett went on a brutally honest rant about Poole not belonging in the league because of how he is acting right now.

"A champ? You ain't acting like it," Garnett said of Poole. "You flexing champ sh-t, but you ain't bringing a championship environment in here. You learned this in Golden State? This what you brought from there? … They got your ass outta there because you wouldn’t fall in line, bro. That's what I'm saying… He does not belong in the league. He’s the head of a team… You see how he talking to teammates?"

This was a harsh rant from Garnett, who clearly does not like what he is seeing from Poole so far in Washington. It will be interesting to see how the young guard progresses as the season goes on.
