The new NBA rules taking effect with the new collective bargaining agreement have a lot of really silly inclusions. One such is needing a minimum of 65 games to make an All-NBA team.

One player who vehemently disagreed with the rules was Draymond Green. He went on an absolutely epic rant where he trashed the new rules on The Draymond Green Show.

"I can appreciate this and everyone will appreciate this until you got bums on the All-NBA team winning awards and winning awards because someone didn't qualify because they missed 10 games at some point of the season with an ankle injury," Green said.

If the rule were to take place this year, the following players wouldn't make the All-NBA team: Steph Curry, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard, Ja Morant, Damian Lillard, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Devin Booker, James Harden. The list would be absolutely barren of stars, and Draymond agrees.

"All of the sudden, you don't have any of those guys on the All-NBA teams, and then what NBA teams are we representing? When you look back at history and you got a bum on the All-NBA second team? All-NBA first team? Because guys missed some games, it won't be so appreciated then."

One thing most people aren't taking into account is that owners will actually inevitably end up regretting this decision too. The way Draymond Green describes why is absolutely perfect.

"You know who else will be complaining? I think owners are going to end up complaining when they find a bum that they have to give an extension to that made the All-NBA team," Green said. "Now they're coming there asking for max and supermax because they made the NBA team."

There are so many of the new CBA rules that make absolutely no sense. The league seems to avoid tackling the bigger problem of players missing too many games from a compact schedule and refuses to address it. There is a massive elephant in the room, and all of the solutions the NBA presented are nothing but sidetracking answers.
