Steph Curry Reacts to Facing LeBron James and Lakers in Playoffs

In this story:
After eliminating the Sacramento Kings in Game 7, the Golden State Warriors have clinched a date with the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Semi-Finals. After his historic Game 7 performance, Warriors superstar Steph Curry was asked about this upcoming matchup.
"They're totally different than the Kings," Curry said of the Lakers. "Present a lot of different challenges. We know LeBron really well. Played them a couple times since the trade [deadline], and they look extremely different. They're playing good basketball. It's weird, a 6-7 seed series and we get home court advantage, so we gotta take advantage of that. But they're big, we gotta be able to have everybody locked in on our preparation over the next 48 hours."

On facing LeBron James again, Curry said, "It's amazing, because you're still in the fight. It's better than the alternative of being on the outside looking in. Having been down 0-2 in this series, nothing is guaranteed, and you don't take anything for granted. It is special to know from the first series we played [LeBron] in Cleveland, the 14-15 season, to now - we're blessed to be playing at this level still. I'm excited about a new chapter."
The winner of this Warriors vs. Lakers series will advance to the Western Conference Finals where they will play the winner of Denver vs. Phoenix.
