With LeBron James contemplating his NBA future, betting odds on his next team are already available. Unsurprisingly, the Golden State Warriors have been given favorable odds to land James if the leaves the Los Angeles Lakers:

While James to the Warriors is a wild scenario to imagine, it makes sense why Golden State would be amongst the favorites to acquire him. To begin, if James decided he wanted to facilitate his way off the Lakers, the Warriors being on his list of desirable destinations would make sense. The superstar forward has previously named Steph Curry as a player he would enjoy playing with, and Golden State would give him an opportunity to stack more championships.

It's important to note that these are just some of the factors that go into the making of betting odds, and do not indicate the actual likelihood of a James to Golden State move. That said, it makes sense why the Warriors would be amongst the betting favorites to land the Lakers star.

Both the Warriors and LeBron James have a lot to figure out this summer as it pertains to their respective futures. For Golden State, they have to find ways to upgrade their current roster around Steph Curry, and do so amidst what feels like a looming front office change. For James, he has to decide if he's returning for a 21st season. If so, will it be with the Lakers, or will he facilitate a trade elsewhere?
