Warriors Reportedly Interested in Trading for All-Star Guard

In this story:
In a recent report from Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Golden State Warriors were named as one of the teams with trade interest in Atlanta Hawks star Dejounte Murray.
"The Hawks have had negotiations with the Los Angeles Lakers about Murray. The [Philadelphia 76ers], Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks, Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors, and San Antonio Spurs have been mentioned as other teams with an interest," Pompey wrote.
This is not the first time the Warriors have been linked to Murray, with The Athletic's Anthony Slater reporting the same thing recently.
"People talk about Atlanta, well Atlanta is kinda reverting into more rebuild mode, so they might trade Dejounte Murray - by the way, who is another name. I know he's more of a guard, but that's a name to at least monitor on the Warriors front," Slater said on the Warriors Plus Minus podcast.
While Murray seems like less of an ideal fit than some of the potential forward options the Warriors have been linked to, his defense would undoubtedly be a huge boost for a Warriors team that has struggled on that end all season. Fitting another guard into the starting lineup could get tricky, but Murray's defensive prowess would presumably make it more doable.
The Warriors certainly need sone changes, and perhaps that could come in the form of Murray.
