Kyle Kuzma Chasing Former Teammate LeBron James For Historic Number

Kyle Kuzma Climbing Up The Ladder All-Time

Kyle Kuzma may not be winning a lot of games this season with the Washington Wizards, however he is winning in life. He got a nice deposit in his bank account last summer as he signed his contract extension to remain with the Washington Wizards. With that reward, he has put in a lot of work on the court as he has become the go-to guy for the Washington Wizards.

This season, he has become the alpha and number one option for the first time in his NBA career. He has always played with stars such as Bradley Beal and LeBron James. This season, he has had the opportunity to take on that role himself and he has looked like an all-star in doing so too.

Unlike LeBron James, Kyle Kuzma was unfortunately left off the NBA all-star team. The team’s record has a lot to do with that as they continue to lose on a nightly basis.

However, like LeBron James, Kyle Kuzma continues to get buckets this season. He has been reliable in doing so all season as he is averaging 22 points per game this year. Those averages have made Kuzma a top 25 scorer this season.

Even at age 39, LeBron James continues to impress as he became the all-time NBA leading scorer this season. He didn’t stop there! Just the other night, LeBron scored his 40,000 point in the NBA on this basket here.

As he continues to score more all time points in the NBA, so does Kyle Kuzma. Kuzma scored his 8,000th career point the other night against the Utah Jazz.

Indeed, this is something both Kuzma and the Wizards should feel proud about. This has been a challenging season to say the least for this team. However, there are some bright spots the Wizards can hang their hats on. One bright spot is the further development and evolution of Kyle Kuzma as they decided not to move on from his last summer.
