Preseason Games Announced For Wizards

The Wizards Preseason Schedule Has Dropped

The summer is meant to be relaxing, eventful, and full of enjoyment. The children are out of school so you know we have to keep them busy. The weather is typically nice depending on your location. That makes time to travel the world and enjoy some fun by the water or anything outdoors. While the summer is enjoyed by many, it typically is considered a dead time for sports. Sure, we love Baseball and Tennis. However, the money makers are the NFL and the NBA. We don’t have any of them during the summer time.

Football is here and we are all ready for the preseason to end. However, right after that is the NBA Preseason. While the NBA Regular Season Schedule was just released, the NBA Preseason Schedule has just released too. The Wizards will certainly have an eventful preseason. They will take on an Australian team, the Cairns Taipans. This may be a courtesy for Xavier Cooks as he just finished playing in Australia late last season as he recently joined the Wizards.

Additionally, the Washington Wizards will take on the Charlotte Hornets, New York Knicks, and the Toronto Raptors. With this schedule that was provided for the Wizards, one or two things can and will happen. The first thing that could happen is the Wizards could take on a bit of false hope. All of those games are very winnable games for the Wizards. The Wizards could go undefeated in the preseason. That could offer a bit of false hope as the Wizards are expected to have a very high lotter pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

The second thing that could happen is that the Wizards could do so well in preseason, that the momentum may carry over for them in the regular season and they could find themselves in the NBA Play In Tournament. The Wizards added yet another NBA Champion to the team in Jordan Poole. He is going to pair nicely next to Kyle Kuzma in the leadership department. That is something that wins in the NBA. The preseason should be a fun time either way for the Washington Wizards.
