The Oakland Raiders are changing their travel for East Coast trips this season, reports Gil Brandt of NFL.com.

The Raiders have not won a game on the East Coast since December 2009, and have struggled with the three-hour time zone shift.

The team will now arrive on Thursday, practice on Friday, and hold walkthroughs on Saturday, according to Brandt.

Oakland only has two games on the East Coast on its 2014 schedule, but the first one -- against the New York Jets -- comes during Week 1, and the second one -- against the New England Patriots -- comes during Week 3.

On top of that, the Raiders Week 4 game against the Miami Dolphins takes place in London. The team will then get a bye in Week 5.
