Jaguars sign receivers Ramses Barden, Chad Hall

The Jaguars have signed veteran receivers Ramses Barden and Chad Hall, the team announced Wednesday

Barden confirmed the news on his Instagram page

Hall signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He spent parts of the past two seasons with the 49ers and Chiefs.

Barden was a third-round pick by the Giants in 2009. He made only one start in his four years with the team and recorded just 29 receptions. He was released prior to the start of last season and sat out the entire season. Barden was signed by the Bills in January, but was cut at the beginning of training camp.

Injuries and suspensions have affected the Jaguars' receiving corps. Cecil Shorts III has an injured hamstring, as is rookie Allen Robinson. Justin Blackmon and Ace Robinson are bothsuspended for substance abuse violations.
