Report: Glenn Dorsey's contract worth $6.1 million, $2.6 million guaranteed

The San Francisco 49ersannounced Tuesday the signing of defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey to a two-year contract extension through the 2016 season.
On Wednesday, the amount of new money on that contract was reported as $6.1 million, with $2.6 million guaranteed, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

Dorsey is expected to miss the upcoming season after tearing his biceps during practice earlier this month.
A first-round pick out of LSU in 2008, Dorsey, 29, recorded 30 tackles and two sacks with the 49ers last season after spending the previous five seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.
