Bruce Arians: Calais Campbell injured on 'dirtiest play I've seen'

Arizona Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell injured his MCL in Sunday's loss to the Broncos, Cardinals beat reporter Darren Urban tweeted.

Campbell appeared to sustain the injury on a chop block. After the game, Arizona head coach Bruce Arians said it was the "dirtiest play I've seen in 37 years."

Kent Somers of AZ Central Sports reports that Campbell is out three to four weeks, which means he would miss games against the Redskins, Raiders and Eagles and possibly the Cowboys game on Nov. 2.

Earlier in the game, Campbell picked off a Peyton Manning pass but was tripped up by Manning when running for the touchdown.

The Cardinals also lost quarterback Drew Stanton to a possible concussion, but Carson Palmer could be back next Sunday versus Washington.
