Do the Seahawks rely on Russell Wilson running too much?

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has the NFL's best-selling jersey, according to a release from the NFL Players Union

Wilson is also responsible for the most single-player-generated sales in the NFL. He topped the NFL Players Inc. Top 50 Sales list for the second fiscal quarter (June through August), according to the release. The sales list takes into account player-specific sales of all officially licensed products, including jerseys and T-shirts. Wilson topped Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel, who was the previous league-wide sales leader.

BURKE: Colin Kaepernick, 49ers overcome slow start to take down Rams

The Denver Broncos' Peyton Manning came in second on the quarterly list, and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick finished third.

While the release did not provide dollar amounts for the players' sales, it did indicate fans purchased more Nike jerseys and Nike T-shirts with Wilson's name on they did for any other player.
