FOX cuts away from 49ers-Saints overtime, angering fans

Per NFL rules, FOX cut away from overtime of the San Francisco 49ers-New Orleans Saints game in Week 10 to show the start of its 4:25 p.m. ET games (either the New York Giants vs. Seattle Seahawks or St. Louis Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals).
According to FOX Sports' Erik Malinowski, the FOX affiliate in San Francisco cut away to show the movie "Basic Instinct."
The move angered many fans who had been watching San Francisco-New Orleans and were expecting to see the outcome. The 49ers ended up winning the game 27-24 on a 35-yard field goal by Phil Dawson with 5:18 remaining in overtime.
What the hell FOX?! You do realize the other game IS IN OVERTIME.

So the #NFL can send teams to London but can't allow #FOX to show a overtime game past 4:25pm. Yup makes perfect sense. #49ersvssaints
