Free-agent running back Frank Gore has signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
On Sunday, it was reported that Gore planned to sign a three-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles in which $7.5 million would be guaranteed over the first two years. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Monday that Gore was reconsidering signing with the Eagles.
Schefter reports that Gore's deal with the Colts is expected to be similar to the one he was going to sign with Philadelphia, worth $12 million over three years.
NFL free agency began at 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
Gore has spent his entire 10-year-career with the San Francisco 49ers and became a free agent for the first time in his career. Last season, he rushed for 1,106 yards and four touchdowns while starting all 16 games.
For his NFL career, Gore has rushed for 11,073 yards and 64 touchdowns in 148 games.
