NFL players react to Buccaneers selecting Jameis Winston

As expected, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston with the first pick in Thursday's draft. Winston, the 2013 Heisman Trophy winner, is the first quarterback to be taken with the No. 1 pick since Andrew Luck in 2012.
Winston was accused of sexually assaulting a female Florida State student in Dec. 2012 but no charges were filed. His accuser recently filed a civil lawsuit against him. Bucs head coach Lovie Smith said the franchise is "comfortable who Jameis Winston is."
“We feel comfortable who Jameis Winston is, what he's done and what we think he will do in the future as much as anything,” Smith told the Tampa Bay Times. "We would not bring in a player that we didn't feel like we could handle or be a productive part of society and our football team. Our research shows that he can do that.”
After Winston was selected, NFL players shared their reactions on Twitter.

Weird not seeing the top pick walk out on the stage. Not surprised ppl didn’t attend. One negative of not having draft in NYC. #NFLDraft
