Buffalo Bills wide receiver Marquise Goodwin will compete in the 2015 Pan American Games for Team USA in the long jump competition, the United States Olympic Committee announced

Goodwin, 24, joins 622 other athletes who were named to Team USA this week.

Goodwin attended Texas on a track and field scholarship, but also played football. He has continued to compete in track and field competition, placing fourth in the long jump at last month's USATF Outdoor Championships with a best distance of 27'5½". Goodwin also represented the U.S. in the 2012 Olympics in London, where he finished 10th in the long jump.

The Bills drafted Goodwin in the third round of the 2013 draft.
