Each team punted on its first two possessions of overtime but Stafford engineered an eight-play, 77-yard drive highlighted by a 57-yard Johnson reception. Johnson’s leaping catch set up Matt Prater’s game-winning 27-yard field goal.

The win was Detroit’s first of the season, while the Bears fell to 2–4 on the year.
