The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Washington Redskins 19–16 in thrilling fashion on Monday Night Football, capping off another exciting week of NFL action. Everyone is chasing the Carolina Panthers, who remain the NFL’s only undefeated team after defeating the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

• Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel will start Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, reports ESPN’s Chris Mortensen. Manziel was benched for the last two games.

• Philadelphia Eagles running back DeMarco Murray went to team owner Jeffrey Lurie to express his frustrations with his role in head coach Chip Kelly’s offense, reports ESPN’s Ed Werder.

• Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning could start throwing tomorrow, reports Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio. Manning has missed the last three games to rehab his injured foot. Head coach Gary Kubiak said Brock Osweiler, who has started in Manning’s absence, will start again Sunday against the Oakland Raiders

• The Seattle Seahawks have released cornerback Cary Williams, reports NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport. Williams started the first 10 games this season.

• The San Francisco 49ers are unsure if running back Carlos Hyde will play again this season, reports Carl Steward of the San Jose Mercury News. Hyde is recovering from a stress fracture in his left foot.

• Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Kwon Alexander will begin serving a four-game suspension this week for violating the league’s performance enhancing drug policy, reports Roy Cummings of The Tampa Tribune

• Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Petersonripped the Vikings coaching staff following the team’s 38–7 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.

• Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jonescriticized the team’s play calling in the red zone following its loss to the Bucs on Sunday, reports ESPN’s Vaughn McClure. Jones hasn’t caught a touchdown pass in the last four games.

• The Philadelphia Eagles announced they have released wide receiver Miles Austin.
