Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson fumbled a punt return in the waning minutes of his team’s Monday Night Football matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.
With less than two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter with the score tied at nine, Jackson caught the punt, ran backwards in an attempt to avoid a tackle and then fumbled the ball near the 10 yard line.
The fumble gave Dallas prime field position with just over a minute remaining in the game. Soon after, Darren McFadden ran up the middle for a score to put the Cowboys ahead 16–9.
