New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman, who sustained a broken foot during the Patriots’ win over the Giants in Week 10, made a surprise return to practice on Friday.
Edelman had a screw inserted into his foot during surgery the following Monday. He was expected to miss six to eight weeks, yet the wideout made a return to the practice field just over three weeks after the procedure.
The Patriots (10–2) play the Texans (6–6) on Sunday Night Football this week at 8:30 p.m. ET.
